At Cunningham Security Systems, we recognize that every home is different and as a result we do not take a packaged approach in our system designs.  We take into consideration the goals of the homeowner and create an individually designed system to meet those goals, whether the system is for personal safety, property safety or a combination of both.  We employ hardwired and wireless technologies in our customized systems depending on physical construction conditions and homeowner preferences.  We do not take a packaged approach to sales either, in fact we do not ever try to "sell" you anything.  We offer solutions to the needs of each homeowner regardless of what our competition is doing.  We will personally visit your property, discuss with you all of your objectives, design a system that we feel best suits the application. After presenting the design to you we can modify it as necessary to provide you with the combination of price and products to meet all your needs.

Hard wired systems, although more labor intensive to install, provide a highly supervised combination of intrusion detection devices such as door and window contacts, glass break detection, motion detection, stress sensors, vibration sensors and many of the other available detection devices. These hard wired systems are a more traditional approach and are still used in both new construction and existing home installation.

Wireless systems have proven themselves to be equally reliable, much more versatile in their installation and application, and in spite of the fact that the equipment is more expensive to purchase, they are installed in about 1/3rd of the time so the labor savings more than offset the increased equipment costs.  All of the wireless products that we install are supervised, meaning that the control panel recognizes each device and monitors the presence of each device with regularity.   In the event that one of the devices gets compromised in any way, the system will notify you of the problem.   Nearly every device that is available in a hard wired version is also available in a wireless version.
