Alarms, the technician who installs your system is the kind of person you will see again when it needs service. We operate across eastern Massachusetts from offices in Topsfield, Wakefield, and Pocasset, with our Maine operations headquartered in Falmouth.
S.W. Alarms is not the first company to join us. Our Topsfield office was once SOS Home Systems and our Wakefield office was Central Signal — and customers who signed with those companies years ago are still with us today, many with the same technicians they started with. That continuity is the point of how we handle acquisitions.

The S.W. Alarms name is now part of Cunningham Security Systems, and the business continues — same customers, same systems, with Steve and Michael Wescott still on the job. What changed is the company standing behind them: Cunningham brings three Massachusetts offices, a deeper technician bench, and a licensed systems contractor (MA #7068C) supporting every account.
Do I need a new contract or new equipment?
No action is needed on your part to keep your service in place. Your existing system keeps working. If anything about your account or equipment ever does need updating, we will contact you about it directly and explain why — changes will never simply happen to you.
Will my monitoring change?
Your alarm signals are monitored around the clock today, exactly as they were. As S.W. Alarms accounts are brought into Cunningham's monitoring operations, anything that affects your system — a communicator update, a test, new contact procedures — will be communicated to you before it happens.
Who do I call for service?
